Onboarding

Our onboarding programs welcome newly hired employees, assisting them in their integration into the company.
There are two types of paths: one for managers and the other for recent graduates and professional employees.
Managers have an individual and personalized program, built around the experience of the person and the role assigned.
Recent graduates and professional employees are involved in a collective path of "welcome & orientation" and "education & development". Their path starts with a welcome meeting with the HR Director of the TIM Group and a learning tour within some of the most representative departments of the company.
Subsequently the Grad Program is activated with digital training courses, offered by TIM Academy, on skills necessary for professional and managerial growth (project management, communication, team working, digital skills, economics ...).

Performance Management

Our performance management system is aimed at all TIM employees and has the task of monitoring and developing all projects, activities and the necessary skill sets.
Performance Management is a flexible system that adapts to any context, such as:
  • discussion between team members and their manager
  • acquiring awareness on personal strengths and weaknesses
  • bring out merit in a fair, transparent and inclusive manner
Giving and receiving feedback is essential in striving for excellence. For this reason, we decided to adopt the multirater approach with which everyone is evaluated and evaluates.
Everyone at TIM has, in fact, the possibility for self-evaluation as well as evaluating their manager and being evaluated by their manager and colleagues.

Individual development plans

These plans are a pivotal element of our Development Model.
After the performance assessment, each individual embarks on an individual development plan lasting a year, which included specific activities aimed above all at recognising and strengthening areas for improvement: e-learning, motivational, professional diversification and/or other development activities make up each person’s individual plan.

Career development

TIM is a company with a wealth of wide-ranging skills and professionalism.
In order to develop and strengthen this important wealth career paths have been designed, courses of managerial and professional development that guarantee gradual acquisition of skills through job rotation.
Our aim is to train people capable of holding positions we consider critical and develop and retain the best talents within the company.
One instrument used a great deal for this purpose is assessment of potential: it brings out the aptitude and motivational characteristics of an individual and identifies their strengths and the areas for improvement, in order to orient professional development consistently with the profile.
