In October and November, Telecom Italia consulted with top media planning and buying companies to establish an optimum approach to managing the Group’s international strategic media activities, planning and buying.
Aegis Media, Publicis Groupe Media and WPP/GroupM, the top three media enterprises in Italy and Europe, took part in the consultation.
The consultation process was supervised by the company’s Communications and Image unit, with input from Telecom Italia Group Provisioning and its innovative “Revolauction” web platform.
The project presented by WPP/GroupM was adjudged to most closely meet Telecom Italia Group needs.
All Telecom Italia Group Media planning and buying activities will now be subsumed by WPP/GroupM company Maxus-BBS.
