ISO 9001 certification renewal of the Purchasing and Service Center Logistics Departments within the Business Support Office of the TIM Group

In the first decade of October 2016 the Purchasing and Service Center Logistics Departments, within the Business Support Office of the TIM Group, successfully completed the renewal audit for their ISO 9001 certification.

The audit programme was conducted by Bureau Veritas as the certification body; the certification involves the Quality management System for the following activity area:

" Design and supply of purchasing, suppliers’ assessment, supply chain also following  environmental and social responsibility criteria. Requirements optimization and purchase plan definition. Management of IT support for purchasing process. Technical assistance on equipment, electronic and telecommunications systems."

The certification body  confirmed renewal of the ISO 9001 Certification for the above mentioned Departments, highlighting the following strong points: core business management in accordance with ISO standard requirements; effective monitoring system for the processes and services provided to internal and external clients; application of social and environmental sustainability principles in the different process steps; strong and proactive involvement and awareness of all personnel; continuing attention to internal clients according to their needs and business priorities.

The ISO 9001 certificate will be valid until September 2018.
