For its own employees, Telecom Italia provides  tuition fees at the Uninettuno International Telematic University, with the opportunity for employees to choose the most appropriate course for them from the Faculties of Economics and Business Administration, Law, Engineering (IT and Management), Psychology, Communication, Media and Advertising, and Arts.

Tuition fees are paid entirely by the company also in subsequent years for everyone who passes at least 50% of the exams set by the curriculum for each of the relevant academic years.

This initiative was set up with the agreement of the industry's main trade unions.

In the 2010-2011 academic year, over 2,800 employees registered for degree courses and 300 employees registered for individual university subjects.

Franco Bernabè, our Chairman & CEO, said: “inspired by the strategy set by the European Council in Lisbon in 2000, and particularly the principle of Life Long Learning, we have decided to launch this Corporate Social Responsibility project, which confirms Telecom Italia as a sustainable company, focused on the well-being of its people and their satisfaction as women and men who want to continue improving their experience and skills. We are sure that this initiative, which has been agreed with the trade unions, will be a useful tool we can use to spread positive energy and improve the motivation of our colleagues”.
