Our stakeholders

In Telecom Italia we think that being sustainable means taking into account the expectations of all those people and parties we are involved with, our "stakeholders", whose opinions and requests we carefully listen to.

We group our stakeholders into eight categories: customers, suppliers, competitors, institutions, environment, community (external stakeholders), human resources and shareholders (internal stakeholders).

The stakeholder identification process is based on the following phases:

  1. analysis of business processes
  2. for each process, all the interested parties are identified (people/associations/organizations involved in the process)
  3. grouping the parties in homogenous categories
  4. identification of priority groups (that is their own stakeholders)  among all parties included in each stakeholder. The web pages devoted to each stakeholder list their main stakeholders with whom Telecom Italia interacts (see also the links on the right).

2016 Multistakeholder Forum

The Multistakeholder Forum was held on 18 October 2016 in Milan. Objectives: note the demands and priorities of stakeholders with respect to the important issues of our strategy, which is broken down into three areas, namely social innovation, the digital culture and environmental protection, and discuss the concrete actions that TIM can take to contribute to these topics in terms of the creation of shared value.
