With this digital culture project, we aim to promote the talent of the younger generation, helping ensure innovation in business: we have measured this in terms of value generated and here are the results!

We collaborate with schools and academia, with which we have achieved a partnership of great added value.

TIM

For a long time now we have been living in a "knowledge society" where knowledge is assuming a central role in economic, social and political terms, constantly fed by research and innovation.

The drive to input new energy is assigned - amongst others - to the new role that the universities are called to fill as part of the “Third Mission”, with a view to facilitating the direct application, optimisation and use of knowledge generated by training and research, through collaboration with businesses and other local players.

With this in mind, TIM has launched a new relationship model with leading universities and national and international research centres, which focuses on enhancing talent and developing key skills to transfer innovation to the company.

Strengthen the Company's ability to innovate while at the same time contributing to the development of research and the training of young people together with schools and universities to contribute to bridging the gap between the skills required by the world of work and the education and training provided.

To promote talent and transfer it into the business.

TIM

Through the “Network Scuola Impresa” project and our collaboration with the universities, we optimise our internal competences, getting in touch with young people across the country and promoting the company’s image.

TIM

Our partnerships with the academic world facilitate our achievement of the “third mission” by generating cutting-edge research, training the managers of tomorrow, offering students our support and setting out ways in which knowledge can truly be given economic value.

Our collaborations include the financing of research doctorate/worthy students/intern scholarships, exchanges of teaching, sponsorships of faculties on matters of corporate interest, sponsorship of masters programmes with the co-design of the training contents, and helping guide and update the training offer to develop the competences necessary to the corporate business.

TIM schools

Seven editions of the TIM Network Scuola Impresa Project were carried out between 2009 and 2015, sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Education, with the annual involvement of 35 schools and as many teachers from TIM. Project objectives:

  1. to transfer the key knowledge, scenarios and evolving sector trends to students, providing a first overview of the world of work and how the organisations function;
  2. to promote the corporate image across the country;
  3. to optimise our competences, encouraging their dissemination elsewhere.
