The ninth edition of EU Sustainable Energy Week is about to start  (EU Sustainable Energy Week or EUSEW), a non-profit event aimed at promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy, which will be held from June 23 to 27, 2014.
At the same time, throughout the month of June, the Energy Days will be held in Europe and worldwide, including 54 in Brussels, over 100 in 23 other countries and as many in the following weeks. Telecom Italia Energy Day will be held in Rome on 23 June.
The  European Sustainable Energy Week was established in 2006 by the EU Commission.
Compared to previous years, the event will be structured in three areas:
•    High Level Policy Conference(HLPC)  held in one single location in Brussels with events concentrated from 24 to 26 June
•    Energy Days, with media support
•    Award competition, with the list of winners.

The venue of HLPC is the Charlemagne building.  The event will be divided into 6 main sections, organised by DG Energy, and 24 additional sessions, coordinated by the other DGs of the European Commission, as well as 6 small stands.
The Sustainable Energy Europe & ManagEnergy Awards 2014 was launched between 25 and 28 November 2013, collecting a total of 342 projects (the highest participation of all editions), judged by a special jury; the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony during the HLPC.
