Alessio Allegrini

Alessio Allegrini's artistic career began at the age of 23, when he was chosen by Riccardo Muti as First horn soloist at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. In subsequent years, he was First horn guest at prestigious orchestras such as the Berliner Philharmoniker, Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks and Mahler Chamber Orchestra. He is currently First horn soloist of the orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Lucerne Festival Orchestra and the Mozart Orchestra.

He was directed in numerous solo concerts by famous conductors such as Abbado, Muti, Chung, Tate and Antonio Pappano. In 2008 he performed with the Orchestra of Santa Cecilia, conducted by Pappano, the European "premiere" of the Concerto for Horn by Elliott Carter and  in 2013, with the Kammerakademie Potsdam, the première of "Out…" by Riccardo Panfili. Recently "Amadeus" has published the recording début of Allegrini in the role of director , with songs by Lebrun, Salieri and with the Concerto for oboe and orchestra by Richard Strauss performed by Francesco Di Rosa.
