Here comes Studio+ for smartphones and tablets

Increasingly often we see people at the bar relaxing during their lunch break, watching a video on their tablet or smartphone while they eat their salad.
Nowadays people are getting used to enjoying content while on the move, in many different situations, for instance while they are in the doctor’s waiting room, on trains and buses, and at the seaside under an umbrella.
In recent years, the use of mobile devices in the world has drastically increased – also due to the fact that mobile technology is becoming ever cheaper – and in 2016 traffic from smartphones and tablets amounted to 51.2% compared to 48.8% from table PCs and laptops. 
This trend has redefined how we live and altered our habits, creating new requirements for people.
While on the one hand time spent on smartphones and tablets is increasingly aimed at entertainment, in particular watching videos, “fast consumption” content is becoming the new standard in popular culture.
This is the very direction taken by Studio+, the new offer from Vivendi launched in October in Latin America and then brought to the Italian market too in partnership with TIM, which proposes the first app dedicated to short series for tablets and smartphones.
It offers premium short series in any genre (romance, action, science fiction, thriller, comedy...), comprised of 10 episodes lasting 10 minutes each.
Studio+ is an innovative offer in terms of both format and content as well as at container level.
Unusual, fun and exciting content is produced and developed especially for mobile screens.
Each week a new series will be available on the application, with different themes and genres.
All series are available in five languages (original, dubbed and/or subtitles in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian). Over the course of 2017 Studio+ will be available in 20 countries and 5 languages.
