A walk in the TIMLab laboratories garden

Turin: 274, Reiss Romoli street. CSELT (Telecommunications Laboratory and Study Centre of the current Telecom Italia Group), now called TIMLab, was established in this industrial suburb in December 1964. These were the economic boom years of the post-war recovery, with workers from the South migrating to the industrial cities of the North, to then clog up the nascent Autostrada del Sole  with long queues when returing home for the summer. Today, 50-years later, I’m visiting this "hotbed of technological innovation." My name is Elisa, I’m from Rome and I’ve been working for Telecom Italia for a short time, so I've yet to visit these laboratories. Today, at lunch, I have a little bit of time: just an hour before a meeting.
