The Security Group / GSMA will be held from 5 - 7 March. But what is it about?

It is a meeting of the Security Group (SG), and two of its sub-groups.
The Security Group, within the GSMA (GSM Association), is the working group dedicated to dealing with issues concerning the security of operators’ radio mobile systems, with regard to algorithms, network infrastructures and devices.

In particular, the GSMA is an association of mobile operators that was established in 1995 to support standardization processes and the promotion and use of the GSM radio mobile system and its later developments.

On a global scale, the number of operators taking part in this initiative is about 800, with over 200 companies connected to the radio mobile eco-system, including vendors of equipment and devices, as well as consulting firms and software development companies.
In addition to being a member of the GSMA, Telecom Italia is part of the GSMA Board (represented by Marco Patuano - AD Telecom Italia).

The events
