Corrado Moiso

I received my MSc degree in Computer Science at University of Torino in 1984; in the same year I joined Telecom Italia Lab (formerly CSELT). I initially studied parallel logic languages and object-oriented distributed platforms.  Afterwards I explored the exploitation of IT in network intelligence solutions, by contributing to the experimentation of TINA, the specification of Parlay/OSA and the adoption of SOA in the service delivery platforms. More recently, I studied decentralized architectures and autonomic technologies and their introduction in Telco infrastructures. Currently, in the context of Telecom Italia Future Centre, I am investigating how emerging IT solutions can enable new service and business opportunities. In particular, my current interests involve Big and Personal Data, Complex Systems, and Cloud-enabled application scenarios. I joined projects founded by EC, Eurescom and EIT. I am author of more than 100 papers published in international journals and conferences, and I have been awarded seven patents on services systems and methods.
