PappanoinWeb returns to the Web for the sixth year running. The project is a collaboration between TIM and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia aimed creating value by making innovative use of the Web and encouraging the dissemination of cultural content and the socialisation of artistic experiences.

A Wide Audience

PappanoinWeb consists of annual cycles of classical music concerts broadcast on this website, enriched by listening guides produced by Maestro Antonio Pappano with musicologist Giovanni Bietti and available on the website, introducing the Web audience to the history and secrets of the music included in the programme.

The project is aimed both at the "young", allowing them to appreciate cultural themes like classical music on the Web, and the "not so young" who, attracted by content of interest to them, can gain familiarity with digital technologies and understand their potential.
Interest in the initiative is demonstrated by the results achieved: previous PappanoinWeb programmes have been followed by over 200,000 connected users, who also took part through lively social network interactions.

A Social Experience

PappanoinWeb 2016 consists of four events in which the Web audience can get involved via the dedicated live chat feature using hashtag #pappanoinweb, as well as by connecting directly to the concert hall, where an actual WebArena for young people is being set up for the first time, allowing them to connect and share photos, short videos, excitement and real experiences.

The online user experience constantly provides new points of view thanks to the 360° panoramic filming technologies so successfully tested during the 2015 programme.
The project is part of TIM's Corporate Shared Value #ilfuturoèditutti activities, a programme of events based on creating shared value with the community.
