The possibility to utilise new generation services based on images, video, multimedia and interactive applications is related to the capacity of the technological infrastructures.

Telecom Italia provides an extensive national network, with the most advanced transmission technologies, from optical fibres to Xdsl technologies, consisting of over 109 million kilometres of copper cables (access) and 3.9 million kilometres of optical fibre (transport and access); a European network (backbone) consisting of 55,000 kilometres of optical fibre and 30,000 kilometres of optical fibre in South America.

Alice Home TV has 25,000 pieces of content on demand and more than 200 channels and live TV shows dedicated to cinema, children, sports and music. Alice customers are provided with an online and telephone technical and administrative assistance service.

Broadband has also brought about great changes in the world of business. Our portfolio contains integrated offers for IP communication, high speed connection, the protection of company data, data management applications, video surveillance services and video conference services with extremely high quality audio and video. There are also specialised applications for specific sectors, such as banking, health care and insurance.

Then there is the Impresa Semplice service, an integrated fixed-mobile system with turnkey solutions for small and medium size enterprises.
