Knowledge Management, which involves managing the creation, dissemination and use of technical and professional knowledge, is a particularly important part of the learning process. The application of TIM’s knowledge management in last year's pilot stage allowed us to promote and spread the culture of sharing, the creation of internal and external relationship networks, as well as the exchange of knowledge and the generation of ideas, with the aim of promoting the Group's innovation processes.

We are also working on a greater use of social tools and platforms, as well as the creation and strengthening of open professional communities, which can produce innovative ideas and solutions through emergence and sharing of competences and experiences by their participants. This will be attained through the company Intranet and the TIM Academy social environment.

The Intranet allows using social instruments such as the management of community areas, an on-line project (both closed and open) and shared forums. In addition, there will be the TIM Academy social environment where learning Communities will be created with the aim of sharing the knowledge generated in the classrooms within the company.
