Stefano, Open Access Telecom Italia, tells the joy and the adoption's emotion...by a particular point of view.

Very often we talk about a "children's home" when we want to explain adoption. Well, today I want to tell the story of a parents' home, and more specifically a dads' home. My dad did not know it yet but that Monday he was going to become MY dad. He works at Telecom and that morning in his office there was particular turmoil. "Ring us back Monday at 9:00 am." That was how the judges of the Juvenile Court had dismissed him the previous Saturday. They had talked about me, about my sixteen months and about my strenuous search for a mum and dad. Twelve couples from whom to choose my future parents. At 9:00 am, my dad was surrounded by the technicians who could anxiously hear the on-hold music of the Court's phone system. A few interminable seconds passed before a woman's voice at the other end of the line said: "We have chosen you!". And there was a party! As in a large family. My dad did not know it yet but that Monday he would become my dad.
