The team spirit and sense of belonging to a big family come out clearly from the words of Antonio, Open Access, Telecom Italia. A story like many others.

It is a story like many others, I hope it does not bore you, but it is unique like each of us.

It all began that day when an Engineer challenged me with: "Sell me a Ferrari!" at a job interview. I could have imagined anything, but that question did not catch me unawares, indeed, I replied: “Sir, I can't sell it to you, nor can I sell it to anyone else. Perhaps you don't know, Ferraris are not sold, people come to buy them at any price,”... and with a self-confident look I thought, but did not say… and I am a Ferrari! With this introduction I began a brief break-in period, and then it was straight onto the track.

It was the years when TIM, focused on achieving the leadership in mobile phones, created in each of us the awareness of being part of a team, while maintaining our individuality: a Leader for our colleagues, for the company and, above all, for the customer. I also found love in the Company and married a colleague who still, after twelve years, puts up with me, but then, you do not give orders to the heart, still less to women (they give the orders). In the meantime those unbreakable friendships were being formed and we grew together. The first crushes, the first marriages, the first children, each of us shared that daily life as in a big family, and we grew... From 2007 onwards I found myself forming part of an even larger family where talents and professionalism (including more mature versions) and this initial team spirit and sense of belonging grew ever stronger, because we shared and mixed other experiences, which enriched our present.

It is like when, on holiday on the island of Elba, I asked for directions from the man with the red Fiat Panda, he- knew the roads and suggested the best route. Then I admitted to being a colleague, and in that moment distances were reduced to nothing: we took our leave with the even stronger awareness that that man, with the Red Panda, formed part of our family and we exchanged a fraternal hug. It is a story like many others, I hope I have not bored you, indeed, I hope that we will continue… to grow together.
