This year TIM's initiative dedicated to inclusion and enhancement of diversity will be held from 28th November to 2nd December in various company premises and on the intranet site.
The schedule will be packed with meetings and events conceived and proposed by the employees. Besides more than 90 «live» events, there will also be more than 10 on-line events across 14 cities featuring presentation of books, projection of films, meetings with institutions, personalities, organisations, testimonies, shows and much more.
Based on proposals, passions and relations among the people within TIM, the schedule forms a puzzle made up of “65,587 unique pieces”. A true kaleidoscope of interests and diversity that blend to enrich this company, turning into a success factor.  A fruit of enthusiasm and commitment, these informal events are open to contribution and participation from each and every person within TIM.
At its second edition, TIM equity & Inclusion Week emphasises on concept of transformation from “diversity” to “equity & inclusion”, a change of perspective crucial towards addressing competition and reclassification of skills appropriately.
The fact that «it aims at creating awareness around the culture of diversity and inclusion, as well as preventing and fighting discrimination representing institutions» won the initiative government sponsorship under UNAR (Ufficio Nazionale Antidiscriminazioni Razziali, i.e. the National Anti-Racial Discrimination Department).
The initiative will be graced by participation of major personalities including Monica Cirinnà, Senator and first signatory of the Italian civil partnership law, Mario Marazziti, Chairman of the Social Affairs Commission at the Italian Chamber of Deputies, Nicole Orlando, a paralympic athlete, Novella Calligaris, former swimming champion and director of Fondazione Giulio Onesti and Francesco Spano, director of UNAR.

The first edition of this initiative on diversity was held from 16 to 20 November 2015 and involved 10 Italian cities with almost 80 events.
