With 29.5 million mobile lines,of which 12 million are broadband users,and 11.4 million fixed connections, of which 7.1 million are broadband accesses, at September 2016, TIM  is  Italy’s digital partner. Abroad the main strength is Brazil, where TIM Brasil, supplying 63.2 million lines, is a major player on the market.

As it has done throughout its industrial history, the Group is focusing its strategy on innovation, and over the 2016-2018 period the Group will be investing over 4.5 billion euros on fiber and 4G. The goal is to reach around 84% of the Italian houses  with the new generation fixed ultrabroadband (Fibre, NGN) and 98% of the population with the mobile network (4G, LTE) by the end of 2018. At October 2016,  NGN coverage reached 56% and LTE coverage 95 % of the population.
