We regularly host undergraduate students and graduates going for a Master’s Degree, so that they may prepare their graduation thesis within our company. 2. Is it possible to apply for internships at Telecom Italia Group?

Please consult our site for on the job training opportunities. Should you wish to send in an application form to submit your CV, complete the online form specifying your availability for internships within the Group. Please read the sections on Internship for further information.

3. How long can an internship last?

Duration depends on the type of project you are interested in. Internships within Telecom Italia Group last:

  • not over 6 months for newly graduates, school attendants or post-secondary school specialization course attendants
  • not over 12 months for university students, newly graduates or post-graduate school or specialization course students, Master Degree’s or Phd’s.

The internship may initiate not later than 18 months from graduation provided :

1) prior agreement has been made with the appropriate university/institution
2) an educational orientation project has been set up

4. May I apply even if there are no positions available?

Send in your CV through the online application any time: your CV will be filed in the company database that is permanently under scrutiny. We will get in touch with you as soon as an adequate vacancy becomes available.

There is no standard time for the hiring process, it depends on company requirements.

7. How does applicant selection work? 

The first step in the process is the evaluation of the CV made available to the company: if adequate, you will be summoned to a pre-selection process consisting in a series of individual tests, followed by a group-dynamics phase and further face to face interviews centred on motivational aspects and on a specialized technical evaluation. 8. Are unsuccessful selection applicants notified in writing?

At the end of the selection process applicants are always provided feedback by Telecom Italia. Successful applicants are contacted by phone; unsuccessful or stand-by applicants receive an e-mail.

Assigned headquarters may vary depending on role and position, but they are generally mentioned in the job announcement. The information is always available on request.

10. Once hired, will I be able to move to other companies in the Group?

Telecom Italia Group favours job rotation considering it a critical instrument in appraising and developing the professional capabilities of its people.
A Job Posting data base is available on the corporate intranet, allowing employees to view required professional profiles, to send their own application and to access the selection criteria that screen and verify conformity of applicants with required profile, and is subsequently followed by personal interviews on motivational and specialized technical aspects.

The Group has both online internal communication applications (Intranet, newsletter, e-mail, webTV. 12. What types of degrees are generally requested in Telecom Italia?

Generally, profiles with a degree in engineering, computer science, economics and other technical and scientific faculties, as well as degrees in the humanities, are requested. Telecom Italia offers the possibility for insertion in numerous professional sectors, and therefore all degree qualification may be of interest.

13. Does a confirmation e-mail arrive after I have fill in the on line form for the insertion of the CV, or are any problems reported?

After the insertion of the CV you will receive an e-mail confirming the registration with the data necessary for modifying or updating the information later.

14. Since I have inserted the CV, I have not been contacted. Might I be contacted in the future?

Profiles having the characteristics most in line with the positions currently available are called within a short time for the selection tests. The CVs in the database may be taken into consideration for personnel requirements occurring during the year subsequent to the last update made. You will in any case receive a reminder e-mail one year after the insertion of your CV. Please pay a regular visit to our billboard showing the positions available, and keep your data updated.
