From 15 April, Telecom Italia is implementing government incentives on landline and USB modem broadband packages for young people (between the ages of 18 and 30).

Thanks to this initiative, Telecom Italia’s offerings are even better value than before. Two new packages for landlines – Internet Senza Limiti and Tutto Senza Limiti – benefit not just from the special terms available through the Ministry of Economic Development, but are also eligible for additional promotions.

Internet Senza Limiti offers customers a €17 discount on their monthly subscription cost (reduced from €36 to €19) for the rest of 2010, which adds up to a total saving of €153. For just €3 more than a monthly phone line subscription fee, customers can surf the web via ADSL to their hearts’ content until the end of the year.

On Tutto Senza Limiti, customers receive a €50 bonus applied directly to their Telecom Italia bill. They can surf the net and talk on the phone as much as they like for three months, and look forward to an additional €19 discount on their monthly subscription cost (reduced from €45 to €26). The whole package offers a total saving of €107. Customers who sign up to this offer can connect to the internet and make phone calls within Italy without restriction for just €10 per month over the basic landline subscription fee.

To take advantage of these subsidies, the person who orders the new phone line must be between 18 and 30 years of age, or there must be somebody in the family that lives at the address where the line is being activated between these ages. To find out full details about these offers or to apply for a new line, contact Customer Service by dialling 187, or visit the www.alice.it website.

For mobile phones, subsidies are available on the Chiavetta Ricaricabile (Rechargeble USB Modem) range for young people, who will be able to surf the net free for five months (up to 100 hours per month) without any contractual restrictions, but with the control of pre-paid solutions. Prices start at €59, depending on whether a usb modem with a maximum speed of 7.2 or 14.4 Megabits per second is selected. This offer is activated at TIM sales outlets.
