Starting in early November with the 2002/2003 Rome edition, Seat PG will begin distributing PAGINE BIANCHE, the new directory listing the telephone numbers of subscribers to the land-line services offered by telephone carriers, as well as PAGINE GIALLE in a completely renewed edition. 

PAGINE BIANCHE

PAGINE BIANCHE, published by Seat, is the natural offshoot of the current directory. In the Rome edition, the new directories will include subscribers to the services of Telecom Italia, as well as those working through Infostrada, Albacom, Atlanet, Colt and Fastweb. The directories will be distributed by Telecom Italia with the usual procedures.

The cover features brand-new graphics, plus a new logo. One of the most important innovations of the new printed directories is that, in addition to the new graphic layout of the ads and a new font to make the directories easier to read, there is also a section where the telephone carriers can publish their subscription terms and a list of services.  In the middle of the volume, there are two new sections: "PAGINEBIANCHEINFORMA" listing emergency and public service numbers, and "GESTORINFORMANO", with more commercial information about the services and offers of the various carriers.

Thanks to an innovative integrated multiplatform system, Pagine Bianche will be available to everyone anywhere – on paper (with the new telephone books), on the Web (at Paginebianche.it, also in the WAP and PDA versions), on CD (in two versions, one for businesses and one for private customers) and through the voice service at 89.24.24. The plusses of the system are constantly updated information and easy use.

PAGINE GIALLE

Created in 1966, for over 35 years it has represented the link between supply and demand in Italy.

Today, Pagine Gialle is an evolved product that is nevertheless distinguished by continuity. Its mission has never changed: assisting people find the right answer to their everyday needs.

The 2002-2003 edition has many new features. The "Home" and "Office" volumes of PAGINE GIALLE have been completely revamped: new logo, new covers, new graphics and the use of the WSL (White Spot Light) technique. The printing is done on white paper that is then colored yellow, ensuring greater visibility for advertisers. The ads have a lighter ground compared to the background of the page: this innovation, combined with the new typeface that´s easier to read, means easier consulting and research for information.

Greater specialization and richer information have also been added by introducing over 200 new categories that respond to the most recent market requirements (for example, e-commerce, online banks, Internet cafés and cyberpubs, health – Reiki / Ayurveda, etc.). In addition, to make it easier to find nationally known brands, the "Trovamarche" or brand-finder index has been overhauled and optimized.

Based on the high use and enjoyment levels of several sections found in the old editions, new sections have been added, such as the Restaurant Guide with information on locales divided by specialties and cuisine, and the section on Bars & Nightspots, following the model of some of the most famous and widely circulated national guides.

With the paper volumes present in all homes and workplaces, the telephone service 89.24.24 Pronto Pagine Gialle, the website http://www.paginegialle.it/(accessible from computers and PDAs), the CD and WAP, today Pagine Gialle represents the most widely used "integrated multimedia information system": it is nothing short of a personal assistant through which, day after day, families and businesses search, find and select where to purchase goods and services.

On 20 October, Pagine Gialle is launching a brand-new major ad campaign that will be aired on all the leading television networks.
