Fiber Optics
It is a filament of glass material that transmits light inside the glass. It is a powerful means of transmission that uses the optical signal propagation. A difference of the twisted pair in coppor, the fiber does not undergo electromagnetic interference and is characterized by a very low level of signal attenuation. A single fiber is capable of transporting huge amounts of information which would normally require thousands of copper wires.
