Inauguration of the EIT ICT Labs
On April 18, 2012 the Italian Centre of the EIT ICT Labs of the European Institute for Innovation and Technology was inaugurated in Trento. Telecom Italia is core partner, together with Engineering and Trento RISE.
In Rome from 8 to 11 March 2012 Musica per Roma Foundation and Telecom Italia are inviting four authors who will will share their thoughts on the relationship between books and the new technologies with the public present on site and through the Web.
Tuesday 7 February 2012 is the World Day for the promotion of the safe and responsible use of the Internet and new technologies.

Telecom Italia was a protagonist for the fourth consecutive year at the BlogFest, held in Riva del Garda from 30 September to 2 October 2011. Marco Patuano, Telecom Italia CEO, met the blogsphere. avoicomunicare won the Macchianera Blog Award 2011 for the best socially-oriented website/blog.

Safer Internet Day 2010
Tuesday 9 February was the World Day for the promotion of the safe and responsible use of the Internet. The shared aim: an invitation to reflect on the management of privacy online, our own and others’.
The initiative involved the institutions, social networks, companies and non-profit organisations dealing with the Internet, new media and minors.
Blogfest 2009
The event was held in Riva del Garda on 2 October and brought together everything in Italy from the world of web communities: blogs, Facebook, Twitter, chat areas, forums and every other social form of communication.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Telecom Italia CEO Franco Bernabè.
