Among the various tariff plans, of particular note there are TIM Premia that offers a bonus for credit top-ups starting from 20 euros and Tutto Compreso that can be customised according to individual needs and includes calling time to all numbers without a connection fee, a mobile phone, text messages, multimedia messages, internet access and email.
MTV Mobile is dedicated to young people and came about through a partnership between TIM and MTV, the musical network much loved by young people.
For web access away from home with a portable PC and the TIM internet key there is the Mobile Tim offer.
The latest generation of mobile phones is increasingly used for web access and multimedia services. These new phones can provide added value mobility services. Two examples are the iPhone, which TIM, in agreement with Apple, put on the Italian market in July 2008, and Dream, the smartphone that uses the Google-designed Android operating system.
Assistance to customers who choose TIM services and products is provided by the 119 service, which is available both on a dedicated website (where customers can register and obtain customised info and services) as well as by phone.
With Orange, T-Mobile and Telia Sonera, TIM is in FreeMove, one of the world’s most important alliances for mobile telephony, involving more than 230 million clients in 32 countries (Europe, USA and Brasil).
