IPv4 Depletion & IPv6 Migration project
Telecom Italia and Juniper Networks received Global Telecoms Business’ IP Transformation award for their IPv4 Depletion & IPv6 Migration joint project. The project was designed to manage the parallel tracks of IPv4 and IPv6 seamlessly within a single architecture.
The Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards are designed to recognize innovative projects involving telecoms operators and service providers around the world, in association with their vendors and suppliers.

Trials for a new ICT solution for a security system in the streets of Rome
“Wireless Patrol” is a Telecom Italia-developed ICT solution that is being deployed on an experimental basis by the Municipality of Rome to assist the Municipal Police in monitoring city security, preventing urban decay, and helping to ensure that people observe the Highway Code in order to improve traffic conditions.
