Telecom Italia wins the KWD Webranking 2012

Awarded for the best corporate online communication in Italy and in Europe

For the second year in a row, Telecom Italia is leader in the KWD Webranking 2012 in Italy and Europe. The ranking has been analysing and assessing the quality of online financial and institutional communication for the latest sixteen years.

With 87.5 points out of 100 maximum assignable nationwide Telecom Italia has positioned itself ahead of the multi-utility company Hera from Bologna (85.8 points) and the energy company ENI (83.5 points).

Telecom Italia and ENI remain at the top of the European ranking, followed by the Swedish Group SCA (78.3 points).

Telecom Italia has been especially appreciated for the restyling of its Group website in Responsive Web Design mode, for its financial information (weighting 41% of the total) and for the use of social media.
 

The 2012 edition of the ranking, carried out by KW Digital (digital division of Hallvarsson&Halvarsson), in collaboration with Lundquist, analysed the English version of corporate websites of the largest companies by market capitalization on the basis of 100 criteria and 325 sub-criteria.
