CSR Online Awards 2012: Telecom Italia was ranked second in Europe and in Italy

This year Telecom Italia, with 73.25 point out of 100, passed from the third to the second position in Europe; Centrica (72 points) ranked first and Unilever (73 punti) third.
 

The evaluation criteria which were introduced this year turned out to be particularly challenging for all the companies and  made the average European score drop down from 50 to 44.2 points.
 

The 5th edition of the CSR Online Awards has analysed the CSR online communication of 252 companies. The analysis was made by the Lundquist company and was based on 68 evaluation criteria.
 

As far as the Italian ranking is concerned, Telecom Italia was ranked second, after Gruppo Hera (76.5 points), with Eni at the third place (71.5 points).
The research analysed 100 Italian companies. The average score reached by Italian companies was 34 points.
 

Among the main reasons for this award, a high level of interactivity and engagement on CSR issues and the presence of the avoicomunicare website, available in English as well.
